Ortho-mosaic of drone imagery: black_ven_transparent_mosaic_group1.tif (and black_ven_transparent_mosaic_group1.tfw and black_ven_transparent_mosaic_group1.prj) Digital Elevation Model (DEM): black_ven_dsm.tif (and black_ven_dsm.tfw and black_ven_dsm.prj) 12. Explain any relationships between files. The two files are spatially related and will overlay within any Geographical Information System (GIS). 13. For each file: i) Description of content Ortho-mosaic of drone imagery is a colour mosaic of 250 separate aerial images taken from a fixed wing drone along the coastal section between Lyme Regis and Charmouth, Dorset, south UK. The image mosaic ad Digital Surface Model (DSM) were created from the separate drone photos a Structure from Motion approach. The data is geo-referenced to Global Coordinate System GCS WGS 1984 or EPSG 4326 The files are georeferenced TIFF format (Geotiff). Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is derived from the drone imagery using a Structure from Motion approach and comprises a raster grid of height measurements across the same area of coastline between Lyme Regis and Charmouth, Dorset, south UK.The data is geo-referenced to Global Coordinate System GCS WGS 1984 or EPSG 4326.The files are georeferenced TIFF format (Geotiff). ii) If not embedded within the file(s) provide variable metadata, missing data data definitions etc. iii) Details of any specialised formats or abbreviations The files are georeferenced TIFF format (Geotiff) with file extension .tif. Methodological Information: 14. Link to methodology description / or brief description of method. 200 separate aerial photographs were acquired from an airborne fixed wing drone flying. These images were mosaicked using a Structure from Motion (SfM) approach using Agisoft PhotoScan software version 1.4 and a Digital Surface Model (DSM) was created during in the SfM process. 15. Describe any quality assurance procedures. Both sets of data have been visually checked for both quality and spatial location accuracy using Google Earth and other datasets. 16. Any specific information required to interpret/use use the data e.g. specific instrumentation/software information. The imagery and DSM can be viewed and processed using any Geographical Information System (GIS) or satellite/raster image analysis or processing software.
